About your Hosts

Pete Strahler grew up in Philadelphia and graduated of from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, earning a Bachelors Degree of Science in Management Information Systems.

He moved to Colorado in 1985 and commenced working as a Programmer/Analyst in the banking industry. At the same time, Pete pursued his strong sense of adventure and love for the outdoors, becoming a professional adventure trip and canoe guide, leading large groups down many of Colorado"s finest rivers.

Ever the creative problem solver, ten years ago Pete developed a passion for the financing and acquisition of real estate. After many years of brokering mortgage loans, Pete and his wife, Tricia, founded their innovative mortgage company, Total Funding, with the charter of helping individuals finance their real estate dreams while educating about the best products and resources to serve individual's long-term goals.

A native of Honolulu, Hawaii, Tricia Strahler found her way to Colorado via a 13-year detour in Orange County, California where she served as Vice President of Operations for a national staffing organization. There she developed training programs, user systems, implementation project plans and operational processes for branches across the country.

It was in her role as an educator that she developed her core philosophy of lifelong learning, and a love for helping people to grow into their potential. From her upbringing in the tourism and service industries to her Hawaiian heritage that embraces the spirit of "aloha" and "ohana," Tricia has brought a culture of welcoming and policy of treating friends and clients like extended family to Total Funding. A dedicated mother and business partner, Tricia also enjoys networking and contributing to groups and organizations that give back to the community.

As active real estate investors themselves, privy to the many situations and challenges their clients face everyday in the process of securing financing, the Strahlers have become experts in their fields and are frequent speakers at investment and financial management seminars.

Together as co-hosts of the Real Estate and Finance with Pete and Tricia radio program, they"re anxious to "share the wealth" of their experience by providing actionable advice, demystifying an industry that's prone to keeping consumers in the dark, and have lots of fun!

The Strahlers reside in Castle Rock, Colorado with their four children: Talia, Parker, Makena and Duke.
